Although having your name on the Walk Of Fame is a huge honor, it is not Alan Jackson’s first time being recognized for his success. Since the start of his career, he has received fourteen awards from The Academy Of Country Music and twelve from The Country Music Association. Lopez actually had a second escort in the form of Nubbins, her canine co-star. Nubbins is a handicapped dog who steals the show in the movie and he did not disappoint when it came to red carpet attire. His puppy wheelchair was pink in color and adorned by flowers. The snazzy little pooch even sported a flower printed bandana.

Even though Nubbins gave her a run for her money, it was Lopez who literally shined at the Hollywood premiere. Her silver dress was designed by Gianfranco Ferré to drape over only on one shoulder and it was beautiful. Lopez added some jewelry by Cartier and a fabulous classic movie star hairdo and finished off the look with peep-toe heels from Ferragamo.

Lopez kept the fashion show going at the London premiere of the highly anticipated movie, which took place on April 28. The carpet was pink this time and Lopez’s black modern dress complimented this nicely. The one-sleeved style paid off once again for Lopez, as she was adorned with a design from Lanvin’s Spring Collection. Lopez replaced the silver belt showcased on the Lanvin runway show with a black leather sash. Her chunky necklace was a great match, as were the Ferragamo heels and Jimmy Choo black clutch.

Another woman who could have stopped red carpet traffic at the L.A. premiere was the beautiful Heidi Klum in a dress by Emilio Sosa. The dress was designed during season seven of Heidi’s show Project Runway, when the designers were challenged to create a look for her to wear on the runway. The dress, which was originally a long gown, looked amazing on Klum in a shorter, brighter colored version.

Australian newcomer Alex O’Loughlin pulled out all the stops for his first major film premiere in a leading role. His dark-colored suit added a classic look, but it was spiced up with a whimsical striped tie that featured a rainbow of colors. Based on his outstanding performance in this movie, viewers have not seen the last of this fun-loving actor.

The Back-Up Plan provides viewers with the type of romantic comedy that they have come to expect from Jennifer Lopez. Lopez plays Zoe, who gives up on love and decides to become a single mother. As soon as she attempts to become a mother on her own, enter Stan, who becomes the love of her life. Zoe finds out that she is pregnant with twins as Stan struggles with this knowledge while attempting to build a relationship with Zoe.

The cast of the classic television series The Love Boat was honored this year as the TV Land pick for Fan Favorite. The Love Boat, which starred Gavin MacLeod and Bernie Kopell, centered on a cruise ship called Pacific Princess and the lives of the people on board. During its run, the show was nominated for several awards, including two Emmy Awards and four Golden Globes.

Younger viewers must have been overjoyed that the Future Classic award went to the successful new series, Glee. Television’s smash hit of 2009, Glee follows the highs and lows of a secondary school show choir as they attempt to win a national competition. The show gained “future classic” status as a result of its sharp lines and impressive song and dance routines, which make it truly unique.

The prominent Legend Award for this year went to two men who are widely regarded as kings of classic comedy, Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner. Reiner earned his place as a television legend by writing The Dick Van Dyke Show, and Mel Brooks is famous for writing numerous comedies, including Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, and the hit Broadway musical The Producers.

The award for the show that has made a huge impact on Pop Culture was given to the cast of the 1970’s classic Charlie’s Angels. Not only was Charlie’s Angels a hugely successful television show, but it spawned two blockbuster films starring Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore. The award was accepted by Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith, sadly without their recently deceased co-star, Farrah Fawcett.

The cast of the popular comedy Everybody Loves Raymond was honored with the TV Land Impact Award, with stars Brad Garrett and Ray Romano on hand to accept. They were lucky enough to be presented with their award by TV legend Bob Newhart. During its nine year run, the show was nominated for over one hundred awards and won forty-nine of them.

The show that was honored for its 30th anniversary at the ceremony this year was the 1980’s sitcom Bosom Buddies. Jay Leno was there to present the award to the show, which ran on ABC from 1980 to 1982 and in reruns on NBC during the summer of 1984. Accepting the award was the show’s decided breakout star, Academy Award winner Tom Hanks.

The TV Land Awards was an eclectic show featuring television favorites old and new from a variety of different genres. An impressive caliber of stars was in attendance, from comedy legends to Academy Award winning actors. This show was a wonderful tribute to those we have grown to love as they came into our living rooms over the years. Brendan Fraser looked thrilled to be promoting his first major blockbuster film since his 2008 effort entitled Inkheart. Fraser has always been a favorite in family films, including the popular The Mummy franchise. He stays true to his strength in Furry Vengeance, which is an eco-friendly film the entire family can enjoy.

While making the film was a lot of fun for Brendan Fraser, putting on the necessary weight was a lot of work. Fraser needed a little extra padding on his backside to perform all of the physical comedy routines in the movie. Another film favorite who appears in Furry Vengeance is the lovely and talented Brooke Shields. The forty-five year old actress has had an amazing career since she was a teenager, and she looked radiant as she walked down the red carpet promoting Furry Vengeance.

Her film career has not been the only thing keeping Brooke Shields in the headlines over the years. In 2006, Shields made headlines when she published her book entitled Down Came The Rain, which focused on post-partum depression. The book was based on her personal experiences and struggles after giving birth to her daughter, Rowan.

The film veterans were not the only ones who made a splash on screen and on the red carpet for Furry Vengeance.

Another actress who crossed over from television to film in this movie is Angela Kinsey, who is most recognizable as Angela Martin on The Office. Before The Office, she appeared on many TV shows including King Of The Hill and Monk. In addition, she appears in a number of The Office “webisodes.” It showed a totally different side to the actress that has become known as someone who is a little stiff due to her character in The Office.

The Furry Vengeance Premiere drew in a variety of actors, some old favorites and some who will certainly be favorites soon.
