How do you learn music theory?
What I am looking for is a textbook to learn music theory but doesn't assume you don't know how to read music. I can read music but just want more information about chord structures and more advanced items than learning how to read music. Any ideas of a good textbook?

What kind of music has been scientifically proven to improve students in their studies?
Hi!

I have a 14-year old student who is a "C" student. She knows it and is determined to improve on it. She has asked me (a music teacher) what kind of music will help her in her studies.

I have sort of heard about listening to music by Bach can help infants in their learning. But, what about teenagers? Is this scientifically proven? Are there good information on the internet?

Please help and advise.

How to move music from iPod to a new computer?
Alright, my computer crashed and I basically lost all my music from iTunes. But I have my iPod Touch that still have my library. I also downloaded music from programs like Frostwire, so I can't transfer purchases. Is there any programs that can take the music from my iPod to transfer it to my iTunes? I know I did that before, but I just cannot think of the website.
