What music should I use for my Macbeth presentation?
My upcoming english project requires that my group and I act out a scene from Macbeth along with music ans sound effects. We will be presenting Act IV scene ii. Can you give me some suggestions for music that fits the mood for that scene? (or several pieces of music for different parts of the scene.

It's basically saying she wants to understand how guys think and the things guys get away with and girls don't. She's putting herself in the guys position and saying what they get to do, like turning off their phone or go chasing after girls and its okay for them to not get questioned because they make the rules as they go and their friends will always cover for them.It says how she would listen to the girl,not take her for granted but in the end of the song it's saying the guy won't change because she (representing women) is not a boy. I honestly think it is because of Jay-Z. Remember Celebs can't express themselves as everyday people can. So they attack and reach out for help under the radar in subtle ways. Sometimes not so subtle —- such as with Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.
Listen to the B Day album songs like "To the Left" and "Ring the Alarm" where Beyonce says "Ring the Alarm I been through this too long but I be damned if I see another chick on your arm—-she gone take everything I own if I let you go"
That sounds like a reference to Jay-Z about Rihanna. The song ring the alarm came out while Jay-Z was supposedly kicking it with Rihanna —- I think that is what the lyrics refer to.
Then you see at the Grammy Awards when Rihanna wins for "Good Girl Gone Bad" and she goes to get Jay-Z to come on stage with her, since he's featured in the song, and Beyonce is standing next to him and he won't go on stage with Rihanna.
Then… Rihanna drops the song "Round of Applause" —– listen to her lyrics —-"you put on quite a show, really had me going, now its time to go, curtains finally closing"……
Then Jay-Z Beyonce get married…..remember though Beyonce said in her B-Day album on ring the alarm "She gone take everything I own if I let you go, can't let you go, I can't let you go"
Remember these artists can't tell their business so they usually get it out through lyrics under the radar—it's like a territory or pride issue (i.e. Biggie and 2pac). Of course we don't understand because we can't relate to that as everyday people. If somebody is sleeping with your boyfriend just show up at the other girls house and cuss her out. Celebs can't do that with a trail of paparazzi following behind them, so they attack each other through press and publicity. Best example Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. Remember it is a whole different world for celebs.

Beyonce may have won the battle by marrying Jay-Z publicly but she has lost the war. You cannot tame a mans heart if he wants to be free.
Most girls are a lot sluttier then they used to be. Its harder to find a good girl now, I feel like im in the guys position in the video except at the end of course.
When she's singing in a lower/deeper voice (roll outta bed, drink beer with the guys, chase after girls, etc. AND then later: turn off my phone, I'd put myself first, I know that she'd be faithful, etc.) she is talking about how the guy is acting crappy in the relationship.
Then when it switches to the chorus and she's singing at a higher pitch (I'd be a better man, I'd listen to her cause I know how it hurts, etc.) she's saying what she would do if she was a boy. She would treat the girl right cause she knows how the girl feels.
However, at the end she realizes that he's just a boy. He's not going to change or be better cause he doesn't understand how he's making her feel. Stupid boy
Watch the video. At the beginning she is the cop then in the middle they switch roles and it is him who ends up being the cop. Then it makes more sense.
I think you maybe misinterpreting the meaning of this song. The song is aimed at women, and the majority of men and women have been cheated on. (but considering she's already a girl, it'll be pretty hard to say sing If I were a Girl) She is merely got the feelings you feel when a partner has cheated and put them into words. Its not about the people, its about the feelings and emotions you have when your in a situation like the one she is singing about.
I'm sorry you take offence to this song, but if you cast your mind back to how you felt when a partner cheated on you, the music will fall into place.
It means that he talks to other girls and hangs out with them and doesn't care that it hurts her but he doesn't want her to do the same with other guys.

If you wanna give some one a song you wrote you better come up with some do's or don't agreement. Because ppl like Beyonce will be owning most of the rights to the song you wrote.
Beyonce got the skill of rearranging songs that are shop to her by making it sound nothing like how it originally sounded. That is why she is credited as a song writer. Like Irreplaceable was really a country song.
