They say things like a phone that rang that no one answered, thus leading the girl to suicide. Amistad is the afterlife and thats where god is. God says "where you been?" because he was wondering why she killed herself. She says "ask anything" because she is open about her feelings and doesn't care any more about whats going on in the real world cause she's dead.
